I was a bit nervous about the pre-order wait until September, but seeing the limited edition of only 38 shiny pieces made it worth reserving mine early. The detail on Squirtle Squad's sunglasses is sharp and clean.

The 1/20 scale is perfect for my shelf display, and the Squirtle Squad variant's time-limited release made me pull the trigger fast. Shipping to Q3 September is a wait, but for 168 total pieces worldwide I'm glad I locked in my order early.

The shiny version being capped at just 38 pieces makes this feel like a genuine grail piece for collectors. I’ve already planned out a display spot for the Squirtle Squad trio when the September ship date rolls around.
