The flame effects on Mega Charizard Y look incredible next to the rock base — the translucent resin really catches the light. I was a bit nervous about the pre-order wait, but the 1/20 scale size is exactly as described and the paint job has no sloppy edges.

The rock base is surprisingly heavy and detailed, giving the whole piece a solid feel. I spent a good ten minutes just looking at the sculpt on the tail. It's definitely the centerpiece of my shelf now.

The Mega Charizard Y's flame effects are nicely sculpted and the 1/20 scale fits perfectly with my other pieces. The rock base has a good weight to it and the resin feels solid, not fragile.
