I was worried about the size, but at 31cm tall it really commands attention on my shelf. The sculpting on the lava effects is incredibly detailed and looks even better in person than in the promo photos.

The paintwork on the Akainu face is brutal in the best way, and the magma texture on his fists feels properly menacing up close. At 31cm tall it’s got real presence on my shelf, though I’m glad I measured the space first since the base takes up more room than I expected.

The box arrived ahead of the estimated June window, which was a nice surprise given it's a pre-order. The resin and PU mix gives it a nice weight, and at 31cm tall it's a proper centerpiece that doesn't feel flimsy.
